The inaugural ADC-NiCE All-Hands Symposium was held in La Jolla, California at UC San Diego on February 10-11, 2025.  This symposium was hosted at the historic Martin Johnson House, which is surrounded by breathtaking, panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean and located within the heart of Scripps Institution of Oceanography.

Investigators, researchers, and trainees from all 13 ADC-NiCE labs came together to share, provide updates, develop ideas and dynamically collaborate with each other on our transdisciplinary aims, during this exciting stage of the center’s trajectory. 

In addition to the participation of our scientific members, we also came together with our partners at the Birch Aquarium to learn about the exciting progress being made on an exhibit, currently being developed, with an intention of demystifying, educating, and highlighting concepts associated with neurobiology in changing environments to the public.
